SUPER Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho has started his rehabilitation programme few days after undergoing a successful surgery on his injured Achilles.
The Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus goalkeeper, who is on loan from Deportivo La Coruna underwent the surgery which was handled by the Spanish side’s traumatologist, Rafael Arriaza on November 14.
The 21 year old uploaded a short video of his recovery work on his Instagram page on Tuesday.
“Please why on earth am I smiling this particular moment … with the pain I should be grinding my teeth right? NA NOW HARD WORK DON START.one step closer my green family. In Christ alone,” he posted alongside with the video.
The reports that the Nigeria international, suffered the horrific injury during an international friendly match between Nigeria and Brazil at the Singapore’s National Stadium last month.
He was stretchered off in the second half of the encounter after he landed badly on his left leg while trying to deal with a cross.
Uzoho, who has been ruled out of action this season, has already missed Super Eagles double victories over Benin and Lesotho in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
